Thanks everyone !! Unfortunately our library does not have the said book (I must get a copy). The consensus seems to be that Perth Zoo may have been the site of the original introduction for S senegelensis. >Do you have "Introduced Birds of the World" (I think it's by Derek >Goodwin). It gives loads of info on all known introductions. >If you can't get a copy let me know and I'll look up the Streptopelia for >you - if I can remember where mine is! > >Russell ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shane Raidal BVSc PhD MACVSc Lecturer in Veterinary Pathology Department of Veterinary Biology and Biomedical Sciences Murdoch University phone: +61 8 9360 2418 Perth,WA, 6150 fax: +61 8 9310 4144 Australia ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~oo00oo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
