We're looking for a place to spend a few days at Christmas (literally over Xmas eve and Xmas +) that provides a combination of good accomodation and meals, reasonable birding, some bushwalking and where we won't be totally isolated (ie we're not hermits). Should be on the east 1/3 of Australia; probably the New England area of NSW would be best time wise. Is anybody out there able to comment on O'Reilly's vs Binna Burra Lodge - they both sound good from the brochures. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help. Bob & Marg Handfield |
