     Some first spring migrants are among this week's highlights in New South
     Wales:

     WEDGE-TAILED SHEARWATER    1 North Head 14/8 and off Wollongong same
                                day - first returns
     WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE 2 displaying Ingleside near Sydney 11/8
     GREY GOSHAWK       1 South end of Lady Carrington Drive, RNP 17/8
     PAINTED BUTTON-QUAIL       2 Skyville Nat. Park, Windosr 10/8
     BROWN QUAIL        30 Cornwallis Road, Windosr 16/8
     KING QUAIL         4 9/8 and 3 16/8 at junction of Cupitt's Lane and
                        Cornwallis Road, Windsor
     JAPANESE SNIPE     10 Bushell's Lagoon, Windsor 16/8 - first of spring
     WHITE-FRONTED TERN 5 North Head, Sydney 14/8
     SWIFT PARROT       2 Seven Hills, Sydney 15/8
     RUFOUS WHISTLER    "returned" Wilberforce, Windsor 18/8
