A pair of White Breasted Wood Swallows has taken up residence for the past month on the Bundoora (Melbourne) campus of La Trobe Uni. - at the 'meeting of the waters' for anyone interested. They don't appear on the long-term, but I think out of date) birdlist for the university, and seem quite out of range - especially in winter. I was told the species has been extending its range. Does anyone know anything about this? Pat O'Malley Email: |
