Hi, Have just seen a NHH trying to lick something off a tinted window. I was inside the room looking out cms away from its flicking tongue. It was off-white in colour and feathery on the tip extending a beak's ( ? bill, beak, what should I call it ? ) length beyond the tip off its beak. I felt like the inside of a flower ! It continued this behaviour for half an hour or more. Do you think it was grooming itself or just trying to be friendly with another of it's kind ? Peter. |
