Hello all, Lorne here. Some of you were asking as to the position of Glen Davis. It is 35km east of Capertee. Capertee is north, or north-west of Lithgow. Lithgow is west of the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. One particular birdo (sorry, I lost your e-mail) was asking about the name of a particular road in Glen Davis valley. It's Crown Station, or Station Creek or something... it goes off to the right at a T-junction with the road to Glen Davis. It's about 17km away from Glen Davis. There is a Regent Honeyeater sign at the T-junction, so you won't miss it. This is where I saw a large flock of Plum-headed Finches. GOOINBOLLIN, or whatever the property is, is a few kilometres away from this sign, heading towards Glen Davis, on the right hand side. You will need permission to walk about there. The owner is amicable. Bye. |
