As a Council Member of the Queensland Wader Study Group, I have been
following the discussion on Cairns mudflats with interest, and have
passed the information on to our Chair, Peter Driscoll.

I am also Editor of the QWSG newsletter, "Queensland Wader", and, if any
northern member of QWSG wishes to write an article for the newsletter on
the situation, with suggested required action, I would be happy to
include it in the next edition, which is due in September.  Copy
deadline is 25 August.
