I can not shed any light on your White tailed BC but on July 14
there was a flock of ~ 80 Yellow tailed BC flying over the Flinders Uni.
almost blackening out the sky. Every winter they come to feed on the pine
cones about the place. They are rarely seen during the summer.
I have also observed White tailed BC flying over. I'm not sure where
they
come from.
