Is John Leonard going neo-troppo too ? John, Max O'Sullivan and I are seriously thinking of Costa Rica next Feb. After we do Ecuador in Jan. At this stage we plan to hire Jack Poll of Viajes Naturalistas Solimar, who hosted the recent ABA conference in Costa Rica this July. I met Jack on Mt Lewis a few years ago and was quite impressed. After 10 days with Jack we will probably do other parts on our own for a week, before going to the States for some `easy' birding. The starting date at this stage, ex San Jose, is the 12th Feb. You're welcome to join us. Andy Anderson Cairns. |
