Highlights in New South Wales over the last week are as follows: GREY GOSHAWK 1 Avoca Beach, Central Coast 15/6 BUSH STONE-CURLEW 2 Davis Town, Brisbane Water, Gosford 22/6 GLOSSY BLACK COCKATOO 3 eating macadamia nuts (which is a big worry) Warrawee, Sydney 15/6 and 4 Capertee Valley 22/6 SWIFT PARROT 55 15KM east of Capertee on road to Glen Davis 21/6 and 8 at nearby Glen Alice 21/6 REGENT HONEYEATER at least 60 15KM east of Capertee on Glen Davis Road 21 - 22/6 BEAUTIFUL FIRETAIL 2 Capertee Valley, (north west of Lithgow) 22/6 PLUM-HEADED FINCH 150 Capertee Valley 15/6 Chris Gladwin Sydney, Australia BIRDLINE NSW (02) 9290 1778 - sponsored by Birds Australia, NSW Field Ornithologists Club and Cumberland Bird Observers Club Please reply direct as a I am unable to see "Birding-Aus" |
