 Hi all,
A couple of days ago I found an unfortunate juvenile Adelaide Rosella
that
had just flown head first into a window. I did not see it happen but I
nearly stepped on the dying bird on the path adjacent to the window. I
picked it up to see what could be done but it was well on the way to bird
heaven.
Whilst trying to prop it in tree I noticed another juvenile AR sitting
watching me in the tree. I picked it up as well. It appeared to be fully fit.
Is this normal behavior being able to pick up a wild bird ? or have I
stumbled across avairy escapees ? Was the little fella mourning for his
mate or was he half stunned as well ?
I went and had a coffee and thought about it, returning to a now dead
bird
and the other one had flown off.
  Any thoughts ?

Peter.
