A number of folk have requested further info about the

                        BIRDING-AUS PLAINSWANDER WEEKEND

This info comes form the company that runs the weekend - it is for your
information only, and certainly not a COMMERCIAL or ADVERTISEMENT of any
type!

The likely weekends are 20-21 or 27-28 September, with a little tendency
to favour the latter date.

Please get in touch if you want me to reserve you a place (we'll discuss
deposits, etc. at a much later date). We can take between 8 and 12
participants.

Many thanks to the Mahers for being so accommodating, by the way.

Cheers

Russell Woodford

<Hello all

<I have been in touch with Phil Maher of Plainswanderer Tours fame - he
<may be able to do a trip for birding-aus readers, or we could book out a
<scheduled one.

< you are interested in seeing sensational birds around Denilliquin in
<southern NSW, whilst being fed sumptuous gourmet delights, then please
<drop me a line. The suggested times are:

<Late September / early October
<December

<The September school holidays would suit me best, but the birds are
<better in December.

<Anyway, if you are interested, drop me a line. I have not been on one
<of these trips, but I know a few folk who have, and they speak highly of
<the birding, food and company.

<Cheers

<Russell Woodford
