Subject: | Upcoming Portland pelagic trip, 18 May |
From: | "Conole, Lawrie" <> |

The Portland pelagic originally scheduled to go out on Sunday 27 April was cancelled due to inclement weather. The trip has been rescheduled for this Sunday, 18 May. With a full complement of pelagic birders, the cost per head should be about $60-65, and Mike will fill you in on the kind of birds you might expect to see. On the last trip, two huge Blue Whales were seen on two occasions. Even though the birding was a bit quiet, all the travellers were mighty impressed by the whales. At the time of writing there are some vacancies. If you are interested in going along for the ride, please ring the organiser, Mike Carter, on (03) 9787 7136 to discuss details, and/or to make a booking. DICLAIMER: The usual; this is a not for profit, cooperative birding venture. Mike doesn't make any money out of it. Lawrie Conole Geelong, Victoria |
