Dear Richard,
In addition to birding-aus, I am subscribed to a South African network -
SABirdNet. It's quite good, I've had a couple of great arguments there,
although at the moment they are preoccupied on what constitutes a "tick".
Some amazing questions have been sent in - some of the replies are good for
a laugh! More serious topics come up occasionally, such as the planting of
exotics in SA and other conservation issues. Great stuff!
Please let me know if you'd like to subscribe (and anyone else!), even for
a short while to try it out. I'll dredge up the original letter that I got,
it's around my computer somewhere!
Happy birding in Trinidad & Tobago!!
Stewart.
