Very Hot news A King Penguin was found on Bruny Island this morning and is likely to stay for several days? Anyone interested in going for this bird should contact Tonia Cochran on 03-62931217. I believe Tonia runs accommodation ideal for those with an interest in natural history so it would be a great place to visit. No doubt it would be a good spot for Forty Spotted Pardalotes and other endemics too. Full marks to Tonia and a big thankyou for finding this bird and letting us know so very promptly. We normally find out about these records in the newspaper some weeks later!
