An American Golden Plover has been reported from Victoria. First sighted yesterday I believe in a salt marsh between the Bunyip River Mouth and Yallock Creek along the Northern edge of Western Port Bay. To get to this locality may involve crossing private property, which means that local knowledge should be sought before having a look for this bird. Best Regards Tony |
