Hi all, Anyone who plans to pay homage to the Westernport (Victoria) Ringed Plover in future please note: The owner of the property would like all visitors to ring beforehand. Apparently some birders got lost on the way out and walked through a garden, thus annoying the owner. Please call Erika Murdoch on (03) 9646 8457 BEFORE going to see the Ringed Plover. Permission will be granted, but she'd just like to know who's tramping on her land. Many thanks. The bird was seen again yesterday and looks set for a long stay. David Andrew |
