Good afternoon,

I've been conducting a spot survey on the 12 hardest Australian
birds to see for a forthcoming article in Australian Birding. The
replies I have received were too various to form a consensus, so I'd
like to throw the question open to birding-aus correspondents.

Forget Paradise Parrot and rare vagrants such as Upland Sandpiper.
Of the extant endemics and regular migrants, what are the 12 hardest
'ticks' in the book?

Many thanks and please send replies to me at:

The results will be published shortly in Australian Birding.

So, please let me
David Andrew
