Does anyone know any details of the new Pizzey guide? I believe he has been working on it for at least 10 years - hopefully it will follow the Christidis and Boles list. A new artist is also welcome - has anyone seen his previous work? Ken Simpson chatted on 3LO (Melbourne ABC radio) a few days ago, describing the new edition. He emphasised the NEW plates as well as the revisions. He also admitted that his favourite birds are the swifts, so it will be interesting to see what his 'verdict' is about our northern visitors! 2 new editions - what are the Slaters up to? Oh dear, I'll need a bigger bookcase... Russell Woodford |
