Curiously in Adelaide last year (in a tree on Frome Road right in
the city, actually) there was a well observed pairing of an
Eastern with an Adelaide rosella. There were offspring, but
noone knows if they were fertile or not.
This strikes me as even more interesting. Pale heads and
Easterns both have white cheek patches, but Adeladide rosellas
have blue.
