It's been a while since I've done this, but I remember having to: 1. get rid of any pre-existing partitions on the new SD card with 'fdisk' before doing the dd 2. specify the block size during the dd, and 3. to 'sync' the file systems after the dd had completed. Don > I tried taking the 2gb sd card out of the ts-7500, putting in in a card reader > on a desktop lubuntu machine, and then backing up the image using the dd > command. I then put a different 2gb sd card into the card reader and used the > dd command to write that image onto the card but the boot fails. > >
