I took many packages from the distro (7553 runs the 'Lenny', so better take the original Lenny packages from the archive: http://archive.debian.net/lenny/).

If memory serves, the standard libCurl from the distro doesn't support https, so I had to recompile it anyway.

In another project I worked in the ucLibc environment. There I had to compile a million packages (PPP, web-server, DHCPC, etc.). libCurl was the biggest headache! You need SSL, libZ and others and Google didn't help with compile options too much.

I've attached 2 build configurations I used.

or probably I can download the debian package (since my ts 7260 is using debian OS) directly from this page:
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/curl?

thanks
