The only required piece of information is your birthday which is required to comply with COPPA.  The only concern there is that you are over 13.  The forum doesn't ask for details such as a full name.  It only needs a valid email address and a username.  Whether those are personally identifiable is completely up to you.

Best Regards,

Both Email and web forums serve their purpose, but requiring the disclosure of information relating to a person's identity is ludicrous. Expect to see a lot of phony dates and/or lost customers.

In addition to discussions on generic embedded systems development, future software updates, product releases, and product change notifications will also be officially announced from the new forum.

Products not in the 7000 range are starting to appear and rather than create new separate Yahoo groups, we have decided to create an all-encompassing forum.
