OK, newbie alert here (new to TS4800 but not Linux): I'm using the latest 8G SD
card image from the embeddedarm.com web site. With the /linuxrc file linked to
the linuxrc-fastboot script everything works as advertised. If I set the link
to either the linuxrc-sdroot or linuxrc-sdroot-ubuntu the touch panel display
is apparently not initialized on boot, nor is the sound driver, the touch
panel, or backlight. Eventually the serial console comes up so the kernel is
booting the distro ok, and a quick 'lsmod' confirms that the frame buffer and
other modules are not loading. Tried modprobe'ing various things to load the
frame buffer driver and backlight driver, but poking around in
/sys/class/backlight would not bring things up, probably missing some hardware
init in that booting sequence. I tried shuffling some things around in the
linuxrc-4800 script but got nowhere. What am I missing here???
