Your board probably has an "SPI ".as well as a software library for using the
SPI interface. There are a number of temperature sensors with a spi
intterface. In addition, lacking an SPI interface you can use the DIO and
write your own interface. With out the interface you would need an ADC to read
and convert the voltage.
