[ts-7000] LCD Pin 14 Stuck On

Hello, 

Im trying to interface my ts7260 with a lumex S02402 (HD44780) LCD panel. 
Unfortunately, after boot LCD Pin 14 (EGPIO[7] on the EP9302) is always ON and 
i cant seem to be able to turn it Off...  

Notes: 
1. Kernel 2.6.21 (Custom compile)
 2. I am able to turn the LCD header power on/off by using the Power Management 
register. 
3. I am able to turn on/off all other pins on the LCD header by mapping 
/dev/mem and using the Port A DDR and Data registers.
