Hello ALL,

I'm a beginner here, and I'm trying to develop a simple application solution on
the hardware I recently purchased - TS-TPC-8390/TS-4800.

I've never really worked on any hardware like this before, but I figure jumping
with both feet in, might be a good approach(?).

Here is what I want to do (in-a-nutshell): I want a simple keypad (3x3)
interface to be displayed on the touchscreen, and when the user pushes any one
of the buttons it triggers a high/low on one of the DIO pins. That's it!

I figured I'd start with developing the back-end first, and programming the
logic to handle the inputs and assign them to the relevant output pins - but I
have no idea how to initialize and to trigger a DIO pin.

>From there, I will need to work on the graphical part, which I have no clue on
>how to do on such a low-level system, and then finally stitch both pieces
>together to make a complete solution.

If anyone can give me some tips, suggestions, snippets of code to get me
started, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance!
