It doesn't. I guess the TS-built Sarge doesn't have the 7250 USB
drivers. :-(
It gets worse....
I reconfigured Redboot on this one 7250 to boot to TS-Linux, then
executed /usr/bin/loadUSBModules.sh, mounted the USB drive to /mnt/cf
and ran e2fsck on it. No problem -- the FS is good. My script (that I
used several years ago on my third 7250) looks like this:
sh /usr/bin/loadUSBModules.sh
mount -r /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt/cf
mount -t devfs devfs /mnt/cf/dev
chroot /mnt/cf e2fsck /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1
Unfortunately, when I reboot and then run /usr/bin/loadUSBModules.sh
followed by /usr/bin/loadUSB.sh to, as the arm_linux_ts72xx manual says,
"change root into the Debian OS on the USB thumb-drive," I get a
boatload of "...not found" error messages, and then the loading stops
when Apache fails to start. I.e., it _looks_ like Debian is loading, but
it can't find a bunch of stuff.
I know this process works, because I used it several years ago with the
TS Developer's Kit USB drive. Apparently the Debin Sarge USB that I
downloaded isn't the same or is configured differently than the
Developer's Kit.
So I'm stuck again. I can mount and use the USB drive in TS-Linux, but I
can't load and use (or boot into) the Debian image that's on it.
