Hi all,

first of all thank you all for your answer! With minicom I could test the COM
ports of my TS7300. COM1 and COM2 works fine (send and receive), unfortunately
COM3-COM6 only in one direction: I can receive data from outside of TS7300, but
I can't send any bits through these ports when I begin typing in minicom.. The
same situation when I try to use an USB-Serial converter. Of course the COM
settings in minicom are the same for all of these ports. It should surely
depend on a Linux settings I think, but the files /dev/ttyT8S0 ...
/dev/ttyT8S3 have write permissions for the root, so I don't know, what else
should I check.
Although I'm very interested in, how I could solve this problem, in my actual
project it become irrelevant, as I could solve the communication with the third
peripheral (a GSM modem) through USB (/dev/ttyACM0), that works fine, so
actually I need only 2 COM port already.

If I could have an answer of a further question, I would glory in that: I've my
TS7300 in a TS-ENC730 box. I've read all the manuals, look forums on the net, I
still couldn't find any info, how I could use the GPDIO #1 - GPDIO #4 of the
10-PIN terminal strip (TERM5-TERM8) of the front panel from my c code. Could
you tell me some info about that, or give me some example code, where the
digital IO port are handled? (Actually I use the LCD port as Digital IO, but it
would be much nicer if I shouldn't have to carve the box to let the cable out)

Thanks in advance!
