Hi. 

I realize this is not a TS-centered question, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
 
Has anyone in this group used this type of transceiver?

No matter how  I set the parameters for picocom, I just can't get a prompt. The 
modem's LEDs show that everything is OK with the startup process.
