I have a hakko 936 with both tweezers and a normal tip.  I have also had the opportunity to use a Metcal, and there is no comparison. (the metcal holds tip temperature better with large heat sinks present)

Interesting. RF energy to heat the tip.

Anyone use a Hakko?

By far, the most annoying thing is lousy heat transfer. The biggest challenge is unsoldering a device pin on a multi-layer board that's connected to a huge ground plane. Price is no object compared to my sanity.
