Actually, I placed the script in /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wifi_up.sh, with an echo to see if it ran on boot-up.

Regrettably /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wifi_up.sh insmod's never ran on boot-up, even though it runs correctly from the command line:
     :
Setting up networking....
Configuring network interfaces...if-up.d/mountnfs[eth0]: waiting for interface rausb0 before doing NFS mounts (warning).SIOCSIFADDR: No such devicerausb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such deviceSIOCSIFNETMASK: No such deviceSIOCSIFBRDADDR: No such devicerausb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such devicerausb0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such deviceFailed to bring up rausb0.

:
Even when wifi_up.sh was placed in /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/, it failed to execute on boot-up!
...even though /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/mountfs in the same folder does execute!

Btw, the permissions on wifi_up.sh are 0777.

Can anyone tell me how I can get wifi_up.sh to execute on boot-up?

Thanks,

RF
