In my experiments today I have disabled PATA and enabled IDE: CONFIG_HAVE_IDE=y CONFIG_IDE=y CONFIG_BLK_DEV_TS7200_CF=y and I can now boot 2.6.29 from CF with "root=/dev/hda1", but I cannot (yet) perause udev to create the nods in /dev ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
