Subject: [ts-7000] Proper 2.6.21 build for TS7260?

Anyone know the right combination?

Starting with: ts7260-linux2.6-etch.dd.bz2

The tree at:
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7260-linux/sources/tskernel-2.6.21-ts-src.tar.gz

appears NOT to be the way to go, apparently to use this tree we deal with a
proprietary tssdcard.ko, a piece of history, apparently. The best we can find
so far is this:

ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7350-linux/sources/linux-2.6.21-ts-src-feb022010.tar.gz

built with:

ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7350-linux/cross-toolchains/crosstool-linux-gnueabi-2005q3-2.tar.gz

Right? Next we have three configs to select from, please help:

1. make ts72xx_defconfig - this gives a kernel that mounts nfsroot & won't
mount vfat because of iso8895-1 problems. The .config produced is so different
from 2. below ts-7260_config-2.6.21 as to beggar belief. Why/how?

2.
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7260-linux/binaries/ts-images/ts-7260_config-2.6.21
 - this config contains the unknown tokens: MACH_PROSOFT, MTD_NAND_TS7400,
SERIAL_TSUART_7260, SERIAL_TSUART_KK, TS73XX_ISA16550, and DMA_TS. That's
scary and doesn't seem right at all. Many build warnings common to 3. below,
with the addition of warnings out of the tssdcard driver.

3. ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7350-linux/sources/ts7350_defconfig
Builds everything ts73xx, etc. many warnings out of ax88796b.c,
ax88796b-ts7370.c, /yaffs_fs.c, tsuart1.c, & others.

Does anyone know which way we should go?

And are we correct that the kernel is built with EABI 3.4.4, yet the compiler,
4.1.2, found on ts7260-linux2.6-etch.dd.bz2 is OABI? Just checking...

THANKS A LOT
