Hello, I have a 2-line vacuum fluorescent display connected to COM2 on my
TS-7260 board. It works fine in all ways, except for one oddity. The display
is programmed with a default message to display when it is powered on, until
that message is overwritten by programs running on the TS-7260 using COM2. I
have noticed that when the TS-7260 is first powered on, a single funky
character is written to the first character position of the display (often it
appears as a x with a bar over it). Has anyone else experienced this? Is
there any way to prevent it other than turning on the display a little later
than the TS-7260?
Thank you,
Don
