After installing samba, I was able to make TS7553/Debian files visible on a
host Windows PC on the LAN. Now, I would like to do the opposite. That is, make
a remote Windows file accessible on a TS7553.
Why do I want to do this? So I can compile programs on a Windows host PC and
run them on the TS7553.
Apparently this requires smbfs:
# mount -t smbfs -o username=myname,password=mypw //winpc_name/shared_dir_name
/mnt/shared_dir_name
The problem is smbfs must be installed. Regrettably, apt-get does not do it:
# apt-get smbfs
E: Invalid operation smbfs
So, here I am, looking for help.
Does any of this make sense?
Thanks,
Bob Furber
