I have been told by TS-TechSupport that I need to do a smbmount to share a
WiFi-Box-2 folder with a Windows Host PC on a LAN ..and this should be done
from Debian; not ts-linux. Since samba is not installed on the Debian
distribution, it must be installed, and this is where I ran into problems, as
shown below.
I should mention /etc/network/interfaces was edited for dynamic IP by swapping
the comments:
:
iface eth0 inet dhcp
#iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.50
:
This worked as expected and the WFB2 responds to pings from PCs on the network.
Can anyone advise me on how to install samba?
Here is my thwarted attempt to install samba:
ts7500:/# apt-get install samba
