I'm doing the exact same command on the exact same setup as you, and I also see 
this behavior sometimes. Good to know it's not just something I'm doing. So I 
guess when I said "it works great" I meant "it works great, except for 
sometimes it doesn't work". In my case it's not a big deal because the data 
it's transmitting doesn't need to be real-time, and the device gets powered off 
every day, but I would imagine that could be a showstopper for others.

Let's hope that the 2.6 patch you posted in the other message handles things a 
little better.
