Yes thanks very much, I am downloading the details to look at. 

Having said that, I can at present read data reports from mice and keyboards 
without using third party libraries, so the interfaces must be already there. 
But for some reason I cannot read from this particular HID device 
programmatically! I must be doing something blindingly obviously wrong here! 

With a bit of luck there may be something in the above documentation to help!
