Don't take too much notice of replies like that from j.chitte. If you we're
really wasting his time, I'm sure it would be easier to just ignore the
question, rather than waste even more time replying - presumably there time
isn't as precious as they'd have you believe, or they wouldn't waste it flexing
their egos.
However, you are unlkely to get a response from any forum, with such a question
as you ask. I would suggest setting out what you have. Go back to the previous
post you gathered something from, quote it and reference it, so there is a
wider context to your query.
I know that isn't an answer, but you may find it helps (indirectly).
Forums can be a great resource. If your qestion is off topic, it may be
ignored, or politely indicated as such. If it's just badly framed, you may get
questions back, which can be abrubt, but sometimes it is folk trying to help.
Unfortunately, sometimes it isn't, and you get a rather indignant response. You
just have to put up with it (and, perhaps, remember the names)
I'll keep an eye on this thread and see how you get on..
