[ts-7000] cross-compilation arm toolchain on linux x86_64 missing library

I am trying to compile my C programs on my linux 64b.
I am using the arm cross toolchain.
Nevertheless, my program requires the flex library which is not in the 
toolchain.
How can I compile for arm on my linux x86_64?
