Okay, so here's the latest.  I wanted telnetd from Busybox running with the 
ability to ask for a username and password.  You need to build Busybox that 
way.  You need to have support for shadow passwords and login turned on in 
Busybox.

That's part 1.  Part 2 is you need to have a symbolic link for /bin/login to 
busybox.  Without this, telnetd logs out the connection immediately.

One remaining issue is that if the user's default shell is /bin/bash then I get 
errors when trying to do ls ls: invalid option -- '-'
I think that's a .bashrc problem but using /bin/sh instead works fine.

Now, the last weird thing is that I tried building Busybox 1.17.3 and the 
executable file comes out about a third the size.  And using it results in a 
kernel panic.
