please show me output of dmesg and lsmod. I think, that the driver for pl2303
is not part of the filesystem, I've tried to make it small. You'll need to
unpack modules[1] to your filesystem, there's pl2303 driver. Just do:

$ tar xvzf modules-2.6.34-r4-ts72xx.tgz -C /path/to/your/rootfs
