I dusted off my old TS-7300 so I can build a TCP-SPI bridge. The SPI interface
will go to another micro with SPI. The board comes up ok but I'm curious what
it would take to add the SPI driver to the kernel.
I found the instructions on how to rebuild the Linux kernel and some posts from
Mika Westerberg about his kernel driver.
I'm not clear about a few things, though:
- Is it possible to get the kernel driver running on the TS-7300 or does it
only work for the TS-72xx boards?
- Which version of the kernel source should I use? (I don't need any of the
FPGA features, a single Ethernet and SPI is all I need)
- Or are there some precompiled binaries with SPI I can use?
Thanks,
Andrew Queisser
