Buuuh, it looks like these routers are all very expensive. I also found HUAWEI E970 which looks powerful and a little cheaper...

But still I prefer a small USB-Stick connecting direct to the board, no cable, no power supply and hopefully (that is the question!) no drivers.

Working with it
(data sending / receiving)

Espace sequence

OK

Closing socket
AT#SH = 2
OK

Or you can use PPP with LCP Exchange
