Russ, THANKS! Yes that is quite different than the usbserial experience. I got pretty far! ppp must be compiled in kernel ppp_async must be module. Oooo that damn fine print! I have a ppp0 device now in ifconfig after running 'pon' but it's Friday, and beer just won the battle for my attention. Test it MOnday. CHEERS! ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
