I put the g_file_storage.ko into the gadget folder under usb (as it is in whole kernel) on ts 7800. However I can't install it. I try this code
"insmod g_file_storage.ko file=..."
However it says "no such a device".

do you know another way to install?

You have to make sure that the compiled module is actually on the TS7xxx, in the correct location. Its usually cross compiled, so you have to copy it manually

I am trying to connect my ts-7800 board and ubuntu laptop via usb connection. My aim is to make ts-7800 behave as a usb storage.
I compiled kernel with the file-storage- gadget support.However I can't install gadget.

I tried "modprobe " however. it says "module g_file_storage not found" .
then I put g_file_storage. ko into the board via ftp. and I tried "insmod" .However, I got the another error.

do you know where is the problem or can anybody who did the same thing explain the process?
