I'll keep you in touch!> What kind of a driver are we talking about? My preferred kind would be a one which maps the TS-DIO24 address space as sysfs entries for easy user-space access from shell scripts etc. Yes, I think that's a good solution for playing :) I will send an email to TS, knowing how much will cost a TS-DIO24 + shipping to France.
