Hi,
I am receiving serial data at a baud rate of 3M on a Ts-7800 and need to log
this data to a attached SATA harddrive. What is the fastest way to do this
without disturbing receiving data as I use polling to achieve the 3M baud rate
and the serial port only has a 16 byte fifo. Am I best logging data byte by
byte directly to harddrive or a file in a filesystem? I have tried fwrite but I
loose serial data when it writes a buffer of data. I have also seen mmap used.
Is there a better method?

Thanks
Simon
