I programmed an application which uses qt and serial communication (using the
serial com 3,4 and 5 implemented by the fpga).
I would need to know what is the memory address of the buffer of each serial
port. The uart has a small fifo memory for received bytes or bytes to be sent.
However, linux has a buffer where stores the received bytes until the
application can read them. This buffer (one for each serial port) is 4096 bytes
long, but I don´t know where is in memory (I would need to know what is the
address).
Could anyone help me with this matter?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Juan.
